RFG's Eliminator 4.0 week 11

Well, another win Brad Keselowski, and another no pick for everyone here. But Talladega took its toll on Harvick and Gordon owners which were common in this race, so we will probably have some pretty low scores... oh well, lets see who was eliminated:

PODIUM

1.) Beardawg-           169 (80) (+1) (The newcomer makes a mark with 2 top 10 drivers, rare for Talladega...and a +8 on Bayne.)

2.) Sfrye-                 159 (72) (+2) (I gave you Waltrip (+8 handicap) instead of Martin, please make sure Mark is racing next time.)

3.) Section-              138 (47) (-2)

NON-PODIUM 120 CLUB

4.) D2Moo-               134 (56) (+3)

5.) Roushfenwayguy- 125 (58) (+5)

ILL55INI-                  125 (58) (+4)

7.) Fsu1dogs-           123 (41) (-1)

8.) Tenacfan-            122 (38) (-3)

110 CLUB

9.) Tigersman-            119 (30) (-6) (Hope the fall didn't hurt too much.)

10.) Berlyn-                 116 (54) (+2) (Well, at least only one of your drivers is having bad luck now...)

11.) Bradman-             115 (58) (+2)

12.) Edwardsfan-          114 (51) (-1)

13.) River Rat-             113 (38) (-5)

14.) Floridawhite-         112 (61) (0) (A great pick in Kahne, not so much for Jeff.)

SPARED

15.) Fogducker-            98 (58) (+1) (Barelyn spared by Foreplus's bad week.)

ELIMINATED

16.) Foreplus-              96 (49) (-1) (Another bad race for Jeff Gordon is another bad week for Foreplus.)

The first discrepency I want to talk about is the 55 car. Although Mark Martin may have a certain handicap, anyone that rides in that car (Waltrip and Vickers) will have a +8 handicap. The handicap go by a driver's point standings, not a car owner's standing, and replacement will count as completely seperate drivers. That also leaves me to say that make sure your driver is racing, I spared Sfrye this time, but next time I may use whoever is in that car w/o a handicap, or even a random autopick.

And Talladega strikes again, with 3 30 scores, and plently of 40 scores to go around, Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, and a few other drivers ruined a lot of people's lineups, switching the standings drastically. But the bottom two is what is the main focus, as Foreplus and Fogducker swapped positions by that much, showing how much picking that bold driver correctly is worse. And if you want to blame Jeff Gordon's bad luck on Berlyn, then you can say that Berlyn knocked out the last female in this game besides herself... which isn't very good news if people are hoping for Berlyn to keep the women's dreams alive the way her year is going. And congratulations to our newcomer, who was the only person to pick two drivers that finished in the top 10, and he was in the podium last week, leaving Beardawg the winner of this session and 3 bonus points for the next.

Handicaps are now revamped up to week 15, and yes Jeff Gordon is still in that handicap list. Will people start taking precaution to picking Jeff Gordon now? Or will we see much more Jeff Gordon picks.

Winning Drivers List:

Section-                  3 (Adds yet another win, looks like Section is gearing up for a Chase run.)

Tigersman-             2 (Breaks away from the pack, but needs another winner to get to Section.)

RFG's Eliminator 4.0 week 10

Woh, we had 6 people pick the winner, I mean given it was Kyle Busch so that's not a big surprise, but still lots of people will add to that win column. The most surprising fact is that three people that have been perfect in attendance to this point all missed picks. Foreplus made picks in the Pick 3 so I gave her RFG autopicks, as for the other two, they got randoms, and while Brad got lucky, Fog will need to work to stay alive. So lets see who will join Fog at the basement:

TOP LINEUP: Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne (+4 handicap)- 92

PODIUM

Section-             91 (One point away from that perfect lineup, a far cry from last session's disaster.)

Beardawg-          89 (Had the one-two punch, but not in the right order.)

Tigersman-         89 (They were in the commonwealth for a reason.)

NON-PODIUM 75 CLUB

Sfrye-                 87

Tenacfan-           84

Fsu1dogs-           82

D2Moo-               78

River Rat-            75

60 CLUB

ILL55INI-            69 (+3 bonus)

Roushfenwayguy- 67

Edwardsfan-         63

Berlyn-                62 (Berlyn actually made a good pick in Kyle Busch, but then Burton had his say.)

DANGER ZONE

Bradman-            59

Floridawhite-         51

Foreplus-              47

Fogducker-           40 (Likely needs to make picks next week in order to stay alive, and good ones.)

Winning Drivers List:

Section-                  3 (Adds yet another win, looks like Section is gearing up for a Chase run.)

Tigersman-             2 (Breaks away from the pack, but needs another winner to get to Section.)

Sfrye-                      1

Everyone else-         0

David Reutimann (David club I guess...)

I know most people are probably going on the Johnson bandwagon, but actually in the past 5 spring Talladegas, his last one, a first, was his only one in the top 20. So I'm going the safe route with the guys that consistently avoid DNFs, which is Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer.

Roushfenwayguy- Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer

D2Moo- Dale Earnhardt Jr., Dave Blaney (+4 handicap)

Tigersman- Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick

Beardawg- Dale Earnhardt Jr., Trevor Bayne (+8 handicap)

Berlyn- Jeff Gordon (+4 handicap), Clint Bowyer

Foreplus- Jeff Gordon (+4 handicap), A.J. Allmendinger (+4 handicap)

RFG's Eliminator 4.0 week 9

Add Denny Hamlin to that list of hot drivers, he got another win! And who took advantage? Only one person known as Section picked the winner this week, but don't fret the many that picked Jimmie and Greg, as they both got top 5s... again... and Jeff Gordon owners will feel some pain. Anyways, lets get right down to the standings and see who is eliminated:

PODIUM

1.) ILL55INI-             172 (79) (With the week he had last week, a 79 is more than enough to hold off charing competition.)

2.) Tigersman-          168 (81) (How do you follow up a 86 point performance, with another 80+ point race.)

Floridawhite-             168 (83)

NON-PODIUM 150 CLUB

4.) Fog-                    160 (82)

Bradman-                  160 (77)

6.) Roushfenwayguy-  157 (81) (The two most popular non handicap drivers this week both get in the top 5.)

D2Moo-                    157 (81) (The scary part is that we both had different lineups both weeks.)

8.) Foreplus-             156 (75)

130 CLUB

9.) Edwardsfan-          147 (71)

10.) Berlyn-               141 (58) (There's the bad luck again!)

11.) River Rat-            139 (65)

12.) Fsu1dogs-           138 (53) (Well your favorite driver isn't what he used to be.. but he was doing good before engine failure.)

13.) Beardawg-           135 (69) (Well, you only lost 2 points from the change, not bad.)

14.) Section-              133 (76) (Well... at least you got the winner, which will help greatly come chase time... if you make it...)

BASEMENT DWELLERS

15.) Sfrye-                  129 (68) (What a difference a segment can make in how you finish.)

16.) Tenacfan-            126 (70)

ELIMINATED

17.) Hoosierguy-           82 (32) (You picked the two worst drivers that were picked this week... add that to last week... and it was nice having you in this game, but the handicap game is risky business...)

So Hoosierguy, with the lowest score both weeks, and sorry to say but a pretty humiliated score leaves us this segment. This leaves only Beardawg as the sole survivor of newcomers to the game this year. 16 are still left, and there is a long season to go before we get to the end. Also I think Section probably scored the lowest ever in the overall standings after picking a winning driver, although he does know when to pick  Hamlin... just a note if people want to watch Section's picks... Also congratulations to ILL55INI, who broke his streak of two 6th place segment finishes with a win. ILL55INI knows the power of the save from last year... or the year before that... and he is setting himself up nicely for it.

Winning Drivers List:

Section-                  2 (Congratulations on being the first to pick Denny Hamlin during both of his wins!)

Tigersman-             1

ILL55INI-                1

Tenacfan-               1

Mikeyfan-                1

Floridawhite-            1

Everyone else-         0

+2 Handicap: 16th-22nd

Brad Keselowski (Chaser last year)

Mark Martin

Juan Pablo Montoya

Regan Smith

Bobby LaBonte

Aric Almirola

Jamie McMurray

+4 Handicap: 23rd- 29th

Kurt Busch (Chaser last year)

Marcos Ambrose

Jeff Gordon (Chaser last year... bargain hunters look here)

A.J. Allmendinger

Kasey Kahne

Dave Blaney

+6 Handicap: 30th- 35th

David Gilliland

David Ragan

David Reutimann (David club I guess...)

Travis Kvapil

Landon Cassill

Brandon Gaughan

+8 handicap: Anyone Below 35th

So after his fresh win, I'll try Denny Hamlin at one of his great tracks, I'll also use Jeff Gordon thanks to that handicap.

RFG's Eliminator 4.0 week 8

Greg Biffle won! And now has a case for being a true championship contender that many didn't see coming, and only after 7 weeks. Looks like we had 2 hopefuls on the 3rd most common RFR driver, Tigersman and ILL55INI that will get a winning driver, as there are a lot of people with only 1 right now, but nobody with 2, but lets see how everyone else did:

ILL55INI-            93 (Surprising, even with the 1-2 punch, he didn't get the best possible lineup, dang Jeff Gordon and his +4.)

Tigersman-         87 (One heck of a RFR lineup, but can't compare to a 1-2 punch.)

Fsu1dogs-           85

Floridawhite-        85 (Following the doghouse has its benefits every now and then.)

Berlyn-                83

Bradman-            83 (Ummm... so Berlyn and Bradman picked the same drivers... and they both scored over 80 points... maybe two wrongs does make a right...)

Foreplus-             81

Fog-                   78

Roushfenwayguy- 76

Edwardsfan-         76

D2Moo-               76

River Rat-            74

Beardawg-           66 (Well, the Bayne pick did get you 24, but that's small compared to the other scores this week.)

Sfrye-                 61 (Thanks to that plus 3 bonus, you stayed in the 60s, there was no smoke in Texas.)

Section-              57 (Berlyn didn't even need to pick Jeff Burton this time, maybe she gave her luck to you.)

Tenacfan-           56 (Well, picking the same driver is going to have its ups and downs.)

Hoosierguy-        55 (45 points out of Mark Martin!... and then comes KEselowski...)

Winning Drivers List:

Tigersman-             1

ILL55INI-                1

Tenacfan-               1

Mikeyfan-                1

Section-                  1

Floridawhite-            1

RFG's Eliminator 4.0 week 6

Well, this is a big week, because as of now, the handicaps are revamped. That means all new handicaps for Martinsville. These handicaps will stay for the next 5 weeks... and there is one driver that will be impossible to resist at Martinsville considering his handicap... go and look at the list to find out. Also JOEpesci missed picks for the 3rd straight week, so he will start receiving zeroes. In other words, you guys can go crazy with your picks because he will be eliminated this segment unless he makes a miracle out of Martinsville (which implies making picks). Here are the standings to see who will get first, because that +3 bonus is still worth fighting for... oh and one more thing, Tenacfan is the only one to pick the winner, as his plan to pick Smoke virtually every race is paying off big time.

PODIUM

1.) Tenacfan-            87 (Tenacfan is doing spooky good, possibly the biggest surprise this season so far.)

2.) Fog-                    86 (A real bounce-back week after being the only one to pick Kyle, very close to that lead.)

3.) Sfrye-                  80 (Keeps on making good picks consistently, just starting where Sfrye finished off last season.)

PACK (70 CLUB)

4.) Section-               77

5.) River Rat-            76

Hoosierguy-              76

7.) Tigersman-          75

D2Moo-                    75

Fsu1dogs-                75

10.) Foreplus-           74 (+3 bonus)

ILL55INI-                 74

60 CLUB

12.) Roushfenwayguy- 68

Beardawg-                  68

14.) Floridawhite-        66

15.) Edwardsfan-         65

BASEMENT

16.) Bradman-            57

17.) Berlyn-                45 (The bad weeks just keep on coming for Berlyn)

INACTIVE

18.) JOEpesci-             0

So without further ado, here are the new handicap lists for the next five races:

+2 Handicap: 16th-22nd

RFG's Eliminator 4.0 week 5

Another race, another Keselowski win, and a lot of sobbing owners of Kyle Busch that will all be pulled down together. And although Keselowski 2-peated, nobody picked him at all. I'm sure that will change in future Bristol races, where Keselowski and Kyle Busch will be a dominant combination. Anyways, lets see how the standings went:

PODIUM

1.) Foreplus-           140 (80) (The only person to pick two drivers in the top 10 this week... pretty sad...)

2.) Bradman-           139 (68) (Plays the handicap game very wisely.)

3.) Tenacfan-           137 (66) (Well, his odd picks helped him avoid trouble.)

Sfrye-                     137 (57)

NON-PODIUM 125 CLUB

5.) D2Moo-              134 (55)

6.) ILL55INI-            132 (43)

7.) Tigersman-         129 (47)

8.) Edwardsfan-         126 (39)

100 CLUB

9.) River Rat-           122 (55)

10.) Section-              121 (45) (+3 bonus)

11.) Fsu1dogs-           112 (46)

12.) Roushfenwayguy- 111 (46)

13.) Fog-                   110 (45)

14.) Flordiawhite-        106 (39) (+3 bonus)

75 CLUB

15.) Beardawg-            91 (35)

16.) JOEpesci-             83 (41) (Needs to make picks next soon or these random picks will eventually bring the death of him.)

17.) Hoosierguy-          79 (46) (Barely avoids elimination after Selection Sunday.)

SAFE (barely)

18.) Berlyn-                 72 (19) (Following the Mikeyfan bandwagon is NEVER a good idea.)

FIRST ELIMINATED

19.) Mikeyfan-             71 (19) (+2 bonus) (Well ummm... it couldn't have gone much worse than this...)

Well after a great first two weeks, Mikeyfan suddenly fell down, and why is that? Well its actually because he let go in his faith of MWR drivers, who ALL finished in the top 5, unfortunately Mikeyfan found out his lesson the hard way, as his bonus from last session was not enough to save him, and he will be the first one to go.

Remember that now all the score reset, so everyone has a fresh zero points except for the segment winner, Foreplus, which will get a 3 point bonus.

Also remember that the handicap lists will be REVAMPED after Fontana, so take advantage of handicaps you still want to use now.

RFG's Eliminator 4.0 week 4

PODIUM

1.) ILL55INI-           89 (Who needs winners to get the high score of the week anyway?)

2.) Edwardsfan-        87 (Why not use the two that were tied for the championship last year?)

3.) Tigersman-         82 (Possibly considered the two best drivers, they both got top 5s.)

THE FRONT PACK

Sfrye-                      82

5.) D2Moo-              79

6.) Section-             73

18.) JOEpesci-            42

19.) Hoosierguy-         33 (Could be finding his way out if he doesn't make picks next time.)

Weeks 3-14: Each week, you must just change your lineup, in other words, you can keep one of your two drivers the same, as long as you change the other one, (Ex.= Week 3: J.J. and Jeff Gordon... Week 4: J.J. and Mark Matin is acceptable) now the only exception is that if you use the same driver for 4 consectutive races, I will make you switch him out, just don't want someone picking J.J. for all 12 races.

Winning Drivers List:

Mikeyfan-                1

Section-                  1
